Did you know that cider is neither Breton, nor Norman, but Iberian? Did you know that cider, like all great wines, is a living product heir to its terroir?

With Calyce, we have a dream : democratize the consumption of real cider and thus, allow you to open a bottle of craft cider for any occasion.

Whether it's for a drink with friends, a brunch, to celebrate a great event or just for fun, we want to offer you a choice of quality ciders, far from the mass produced brand selection. That's why our mission is simple: we want to make it easier for you to access the best cider products.

Since September 2018, thanks to our monthly subscription box, we bring with us more than 170 aficionados of cider in the world of our cider producers.

Unfortunately our current website does not allow you to buy cider individually without a subscription. That's the reason why we want to offer you a simpler, more personalized and less restrictive offer.

Today we need your help in order to go further by opening the first e-shop 100% dedicated to craft ciders from all around the world

Three years ago, Camille flew to England. There, she fall in love with the rain, the royal family, fish'n'chips and a drink, yet very French: cider.

Deeply touched by the English craze for this alcohol from her childhood she embarks on a European journey in search of the cider culture. Throughout her discoveries (Anglo-Saxon cider, German apfelwein, Spanish sidra ...) and her encounters Calyce's idea begins to germinate.

The meeting with Pierre-Antoine, self-taught touches all, fed with Basque cider, will accelerate the birth of Calyce.

During a cider tasting party with friends at Pierre-Antoine’s, we found out that cider, confined to the mass consumption products is not appreciated at its fair value.

It was time for us to act!

With Calyce, we are working to democratize the consumption of artisanal cider while improving the way cider is perceived. Cider is as valuable as an exceptional wine or a beautiful craft beer.

Calyce is the first french cider subscription box. In France, we house more than 500 pomeliers and cider makers. Young - and not so young - shoots full of talent, with their history, their heritage, their terroir and their methods of transformation.

Because each producer is unique and there are thousands of varieties of apples and pears, the world of cider gives us an incredible diversity of products to discover.

From PDOs to Labels, sometimes sparkling, sometimes quiet, rather bitter or more acidic, from sweet to extra-brut, aged in whiskey casks or transformed by champenoise method ... each cider is a reflection of its terroir and the work of its producer.

It’s all about cider versatility !

It is because there is something for every taste and every opportunity that we have been selecting the best ciders. So let us guide you, we will prove that cider is an exceptional product !

No question of cutting corners on the remuneration of our producers. We make it a point of honor to work directly with them to help them maintain their margins.

FOR THE PLANET AND FOR YOU

Reasonable agriculture, organic or biodynamic orchards, we first favor ciders produced with respect.

Of course, all are without additives, preservatives or added sugars. We pronounce transparency on the composition of each cider.

If some contain animal protein, you will be the first to know!
